Tip Of The Week

Recovery. Why is it important?

Recovery plays an important part in allowing your body to grow and repair after a workout. There tends to be a misconception that you must workout every day to achieve your goals… This simply isn’t true.

It’s important to listen to your body and take 2/3 days off a week. Taking a day off doesn’t mean not doing anything at all though. Keep your body moving with light intensity work. Going for a walk and fitting in your 10k steps or doing a yoga session is a brilliant way to allow your body a chance to recover, but also keep your body moving.

Keep up with the eating side of things as well. Remember to consume lots of protein and have at least 2 litres of water a day!
